Umeda Story was written as an entry in the Osaka International Concept Competition, an open competition held by the city of Osaka, Japan to get ideas for redeveloping a railroad freight yard near the city's downtown. While this entry was not a winning one it does share elements with some of the winning entries. You can see the winning designs at the competition site. The competition site is in Japanese and English.


Characters

Takahashi Ume- Fourth year student at Umeda University. Tanaka Ichiro- Ume's sweetheart.  The two graudated from the same high school.  Tanaka now attends a university in Tokyo. The proposed university, park, and other facilities.
